Lumix 14-45mm vs 14-42mm, how much of a difference?

Hi guys,

Im wanting to get one of these 2 lenses, and naturally the 14-42mm is cheaper and known to be slightly softer.

However i cant find many comparisons of these 2 lenses at all, only this one -

I know dpreview has the sharpness measure, but ideally i want real world tests in full size images.

Anyone know of any tests?

OR

Has anyone had both and can say how much a difference there is? would you actually notice a difference in general shooting?

From the comparison linked above the major difference seems to be when wide open the 14-42mm is slightly softer with more CA.
