I was very proud of myself for providing a distraction to the SD1 debacle last week with my thread entitled " How to determine the diffraction limit for a lens? ". Thanks to everyone who provided feedback, and as usual on this forum, distraction.

My next question is in regards to photo printers. I'm not adverse to spending money to acquire a printer that will generate gallery-quality prints in the 11 x 17 range. One of the things that I'm a bit frustrated with is the volume of ink that most printers carry, i.e., "not enough". Therefore, I'd lean toward a larger ink reservoir whenever possible...

The Canon PIXMA series seem to be highly lauded. What devices would the forum members recommend?

Thanks in advance for your replies,
