Lightroom 3 for D7000 Nikon

I Bought my D7000 Nikon camera last fall when it came out. I just installed Lightroom 3 as an upgrade to my LR 2. My raw files cannot be seen with the new LR 3 installed. I thought that LR 3 supported the nikon D7000 raw files. What went wrong. When I installed LR 3 it didn't ask for my LR 2 serial number. Please help.
