It must suck to be an Olympus user. (or, be happy you have a Pentax)

This isn't a troll, just an observation.

I've always liked the gripless design of the E-400/410/420 camera and now they can be picked up for a song I was mulling over buying one just for kicks.

I'm a prime lens kind of guy, and was rather taken aback at the limited options provided by the current Olympus lens catalog.

There are three prime lenses bewteen 8mm and 150mm: the 25/2.8, the 35/3.5 macro, and the 50/2 macro. That's 50, 70 and 100mm effective.

In Pentax equivalent, the closest equivalent is probably the DA35/2.4, a D FA 50/2.8 macro, and the DA70. The end. That's it.

The pro zooms are surely nice, but wallet busting.

In short, if you like prime lenses, Pentax/Nikon is the place to be.
