Any news on k5 firmware hacks?

After just updating my gf1 again with a hacked firmware I got rid of the 30min video limit and also "MANUAL" controls for video!
I was just wondering If anyone knew anything about such things for the k5.
Not just for manual video though, It would be nice to get either camera to work at flash sync speeds over 1/160. I tried setting my flash to HSS and connecting a radio trigger to the pc port but sadly the k5 wont send a signal to that once it gose above 1/160 even though its triggering the flash. (gf1 just drops to 1/160 as soon as its senses a flash).
Ahh well at least i tried
