Best affordable 50mm f1.4 Double gauss manual focus primer?

Hey people,

What do you think is the best 50mm f1.4 manual focus primer that is available at the moment, bar the current crop of Carl Zeiss lenses (as they are simply WAY too expensive). I shoot wide open, and slightly stepped down often so the bokeh characteristic is important.

I have a 50mm f1.4 minolta at the moment, which was destroyed recently...

I've been hearing great things about the super takumar 50mm f1.4s. How about the FDs?

EDIT: Also, Screwdrive AF lenses are okay too! As long as they arent gelded or break from MF-only usage.
