Interesting SD14 Story
Jun 23, 2011

First, here's a photo I took with my SD14 and 50-200mm lens.

David (now 90), in the photo, is father to 5 boys (grown men now), all who know there way around cameras. One has already told me this photo is going to be on their walls. The photo is an accident!

I wanted to take 10-15 photos and do a Benizer bokeh effect image. As you can imagine, after 7 shots the SD14 wanted to catch its breath. This photos was just a first, get a lay of the land shot. Anyway, I didn't want David to wait, so I gave up, put the camera down, and picked up a Nikon D90. With that camera I was able to take 20 shots as fast I wanted.

When I saw this photo I knew there was no need to do a stitch. When I looked at the D90 photos none of jumped out at me. Maybe together, they would have made a nice photograph. I don't need nice. I have, to me, perfect.

In the end, The slow and grumpy SD14 had the last laugh.
