Wait for SLT-A35 or just get A55.

So I need a camera for sure by 8/22 when I leave for a trip.
sonystyle.com says the SLT-A35 ships "on or about 8/10". Does
anyone know how well Sony has hit their shipping schedules in the past?

I would just get an A55, but feel that I can live without the articulating screen and
would prefer to have longer battery life and no video overheating issues.

I will probably pre-order the A35 and if it is late just cancel and run out to get the A55.

Also worried I won't have much time to get used to the new camera.
