Olympus EPL1 and 40-150mm

Hi all,
Has anyone had a problem with the EPL1 and the 40-150mm lens combo.
I just purchased the lens, however, I'm having a problem when the lens is at the 150mm end. The lens stops communicating with the camera and the LCD Screen turns blank and the clamera locks up. I have to power the camera down and power it up to get the lens and camera to work.
Any thoughts?
