Catastrophe! 45mm won't focus!

All of a sudden my dearly beloved Pan/Leica 45mm lens won't focus.
Won't focus automatically, won't focus manually.
In AFS half press the shutter release button and precisely NOTHING happens.
In manual focus, rotating the manual focus ring produces NO result.

Other lenses working normally.

Anyone else suffered this terrible fate?

Sydney users: Any good or bad experiences with Picture Fix Electronics or any other of the Panasonic authorised reparers?
