Okay I've had it ... How do you make HDR Panoramas?
Jun 16, 2011

Alright, I've done this before, but it seems I got lucky because now Photoshop doesn't want to play nice.

I bracketed 6 scenes using manual exposure. I did this to ensure that the exposure parameters were the same for each scene.

I then tonemapped the first of the 6 scenes in Photomatix 4 and saved the settings and applied them to the other 5 ... So far so good.

Now here's the problem. I open Bridge CS5, and select the 6 resulting tonemapped pictures and use "Photomerge in Photoshop" ... I select "Auto" and regardless of if I check "Blend Images Together" or not, the exposures are all over the place.

Am I doing this wrong?

My first intuition was to stitch the -2 EV, stitch the 0 EV, and stitch the +2 EV separately, then attempt to tonemap the resulting panoramas ... But some people say Photomatix cannot handle that.

This is what I am getting currently, please help!
