Moving Home folder from SSD to HDD.

Dear all,

My new 27" iMac just arrived, 1TB + SSD.

Before arrival, I read from some sites that there is a new way apple will arrange the hybrid, "smart response technology" where user will only sees one HD, Mac will decide how to organise your stuffs according to user habit and efficiency. However, my new iMac reads 2 HDs, with everything in SSD.

After some search in the internet many suggest moving the Home folder to HDD, storing photos, videos, documents while leaving the fast SSD for applications. What is your opinion on this? Any reliable read on how to perform this safely?
