Birding at Key West

I haven't been to FL before but will be going to Fort Lauderdale and Key West during the weekend to do some bird/wildlife photography (with a 500/4). So excited!
Any sugguestion where I can go?
And what is the best time of the day to see the birds or wildlife?
If anyone in that area want to join to do some birding, it would be very welcome!
