itunes update: beware

Just downloaded the latest software update to itunes.
It contains a cloud beta.
My ipad syncs to it no problem but my ipod 2 starts to synch then crashes each time. Won't sych at all.
I know the older ipods won't accept the OS 5 that's coming out and this might be connected.
It might just be me in any case but a heads up that there looks like a bug in it so I'd wait if I were you.
