Cleaning Sensor - was easy

Hi
On holiday last week I noticed a huge amount of flecks on my shots when doing some landscapes (clear blue skies). I looked at the sensor and it was covered in stuck on dust, pollen, (few drops of oil too?). Probably not helped by doing live view/video and zooming so sucking in air and debris. As the small mediterranean islands don't stock Sensor Swabs etc I decided to risk a cotton bud or 2 (q-tips for our US chums) and hot breath (always worked for my lenses) when back in the villa.
And voila - awesome clean in a few swipes and no more specks!
I'm not recommending this an offical method but as an emergency worked fine, gentle yet firm pressure.
Like Thom Hogan says, the glass over the sensor is tough stuff so a with care not to touch off the glass in the shutter this worked well.
