Doe The K-r deserve the bad rap it gets ?
Jun 4, 2011

Just wondering about the opinion of others here in regard to the K-r. I am a K-x owner and simply love the camera and would never think of parting with it, until I save enough to get a k-5. One thing I notice though is that when the K-x was released and was out for some time, it was getting rave reviews about the high iso low light performance and the bang for the buck that you got....still gets it today after being out for so long (In camera years that is). When the K-r was released though, I expected it to carry on that torch and get all of the ohhs and awws that my then "Old" K-x use to get, but I am not seeing that. There are a few posts here and there of people talking about positive experiences with their K-r but not as many as I would have expected. Maybe it is just that what was cutting edge when the K-x was released has now become old hat and so much more would have been needed as a follow up that it would have been hard to meet the expectations. Is it just me who is seeing that here ?
