Should i get the DP1s (Help)!!

I am in the search again for a camera, i always wanted a Sigma DP but i was always held back by the reviews saying that it is "slower than a "replay"".
Now i have found an almost new DP1s for 280euros.
Is the foveon look so intensively different than the Bayer that it worth buing.
Is manual focus usable?
Users, please help?
