Re: 24p look or low ISO

Hama has an cable-release-adapter with velcro. Since its not very stable i would replace some parts by 3M Dual-Lock velcro. It is most robust. There is a softer version for round-shaped surfaces. I have also "misused" a polaroid-pack-cam-cable-release. could work. Use hamas item.
Just saw your solution:
Velcro alone is a good solution.

I'm a bit confused..

How do you know the recording framerate and ISO ?!?

The Nex doesn't display it while recording, and reviewing the movie there's no way to know the capturing framerate, being recorded at 25p.

I think there's no lockable cable release for Nex, the button has no screw hole

So your are telling me it can't be done, because you don't know how to do it?

Framerate for PAL-version is always 25fps but no one can see the difference between 24p with 1/48s and 25p with 1/48s shutter.
You can get shutter speed and gain value (ISO) from DVMP Pro.

I don't know if there is a cable release specifically for the NEX. Just buy a ordinary one and a fitting bolt, and then make some modifications, or use a rubberband, iPhone or whatever...
