Re: Swedish, do the very simple test

Ola Luke:

That's why I asked for a basic bright window lighting test, something everyone can reproduce for themselves. There are differences between cameras re color responses and sensitivities, but that usually is not visible on monitors, since we are looking at 8bit jpegs and, moreover, most monitors are not calibrated.

This talk about 3D feeling, etc, is bs, one can get it at these sizes we post from any dslr, with good lighting and good shooting and PP techniques.

I have seen horrible D700 shots and wonderful D40 shots, and vice-versa, in my 4 years following these forums. Sometimes my D80 surprised me, one way or the other, but if checked lighting, especially, the answer was very simple.

Ciao, Renato.

Ola, Renato. I think his indoor shots are being lit by CFLs. Those things are hopeless.
