5D2+50/1.4 or 50D+17-55/2.8 for landscapes?

I'm going on a trip to northern Norway, and would prefer to bring just one of my cameras (5D2 or 50D). I will be birding and doing landscapes. For birding (whaling) I will bring 400/5.6 and 70-200/4 IS. For landscapes my options are those in the subject. I would prefer to bring the 5D2 for the longer lenses, but I do not presently own a wide landscape lens for FF.
Then again, back in the day all I had was a 50/1.7 on a Pentax K1000 (without AF LOL).
What would you pick?
