Fujifilm S4000

Hi, I am looking at the S4000, however, I note some references to a S4000A and a S4050, can anyone tell me the differences ? Also, I have an S8100 which can be used with an AC Power Adaptor when connected to the PC, does the S4000 use an AC Adaptor ? Also are there any reviews or %age merit tables available on the site ?
