Video PLAYBACK of D7000

So here is an entertaining question. Anyone have any luck getting their D7000 to playback h264 video NOT recorded on it? I'm leaving the country soon and was thinking I could use it as a player for my TV, since I've sold the PS3 I was using.
Yes, this is certainly a way to abuse a wonderful camera. But I don't foresee any permanent damage and find it kind of humorous at the same time.
