Is D30 to Old

Hi

I have the Canon G2 today and i am quite happy with it. The only problem is Speed....To slow of course. That's why i am considering to buy a used Canon D30. But the D30 is "only" 3 megapixl and the G2 is 4 megapixl.

Is is smart to buy a camera which has lower resolution then the one i already have.???

Please to not reply with "Buy both". I can't afford it.

My demands for a camera is fast focus and no laggging.....

Does anyone have a used D30 they want to sell ????? Trade ????
