Will Mirror-less Cameras take over from oldschool DSLR?

Ive just been reading reviews on the new Sony NEX-5 and Lumix GMC- G3.

Features like a smaller body size and weight, touch-screen interface, direct touch-screen selection of focus points, G3 lets you put the AF point anywhere in the frame, not just within a central portion. All lead me to think we are witnessing the end or mirror technology for anything under 20mp.

I agree manufacturers have a long way to go in terms of lens options, but as lenses become available and with advances in smart point and shoot features dont you think that this will be the new standard for DSLR style camers and the current cumbersome style associate with mirrior systems under 18mp will be history ? This would leave the chunky mirror technology to pro DSLR above 24mp.
