E-1 and OM vs ZD close-ups

Being a bit of a dull and damp day, I decided to muck around with a few close-ups from a tripod today, and maybe do some more comparisons of OM vs ZD lenses. I set up a rudimentary light box, with a bit of card and an A3 sheet of paper, and a 500w flood light overhead.

After a few attempts, I decided to stick with the OM 28mm F3.5 (stopped down to F5.6) and the ZD 17.5-45. The OM 135mm was immediately obvious as no contender in this battle.

So, I popped around the garden and cut off a few flower heads (I'm no gardener), and stuck them into a clip, and started shooting. I left the E-1 on ESP metering, and set to 'A' mode on the manual lens. Slight amount of PP in Aperture (correction to exposure, and some Edge Sharpen)

Here's what I got:

CC welcome of course.
