That's why compacts and cell-phone cameras dominate the industry, and all of these non-pocketable cameras (micro 4/3, 4/3, APS-c dSLRs and full-frame dSLRs) are relegated largely to the enthusiast and professional markets - none of them are small enough and/or cheap enough compared to the others for them to crack the average consumer market.
