35 f1.4...Samyang?
May 14, 2011

a guy on an italian photography forum posted some pictures of his new Samyang 35 f 1.4 on a Nikon D700.

Actually Nikon owners can enjoy such kind of lenses a lot better than canonists, because, apart from losing AF, you still have all the other functions (and af confirm dot as well!!).

But that lens seems really really fine (even wide open) and I'm still dreaming about a 35 f1.4...

Do you think it's worthwhile using it on a canon? (No af, probably? no AF confirm, stop down metering...). I know manual focusing a 14 is easy but a 35 1.4??...and stop down metering seems really too fiddly for me, especially for people shooting. But I've never tried so maybe it's not so bad...

Or maybe I'd better save money for the canon 35L or again sell my 24L and get the 35L instead...

Mr. President, I'm not saying we wouldn't get our hair mussed. But I do say... no more than ten to twenty million killed, tops. Uh... depended on the breaks.
