Nikon D7000 movie and image stabilisation

Hi all
One quick question. When shooting movie with my d7000 i normally use pre-focus and then record. I only focus again if needed. (I think the auto-focus feature does not work that well).
I use a sigma 17-50 that has OS (imange stabilisation). Does anyone know if this OS will be "on" as long as i record ???
