Question is at normal print size which tradeoff is more relevant ??

Hard for me to say - I personally seldom print. Most of my images are viewed on-screen.

IME: an Oly is the choice for OOC jpegs. Never got decent OOC colors in jpegs from a panasonic. Hope production G3's fix that.

I did. I shot JPEG almost exclusively from my G1 because the results were so good. Did a heck of a lot of people shots, including a wedding that the bride and groom appreciated. It was hard work, maybe impossible, to pick the G1 versus the Pentax K-x on that occasion.
