Unfortunately, an intervalometer is not a feature of this camera. I may be more common on cameras nowadays but it's definitely not a feature that is found on all cameras.

I would think it is something Fuji could add in a firmware update but I wouldn't hold your breath...there is enough already that needs to be fixed/enhanced.

As for what could be done, you would need to find a third party shutter release that will trip the shutter release. Unfortunately, since it's mechanical, I have only been able to find one that will work with the fuji:

$500 is a bit steep...
