Lots of incorrect info!

1. Canon's extenders only fit on a select number of tele-L lenses. The designs have protruding lens elements, needing the lens to have space enough at the back element.

2. NO 3rd party TC will mount your lens either, as EF-S lenses have a protruding back design, which will hit the TC's optics/internals.

So, no extender/tele converter will physically fit EF-S lenses.

Not that that is bad, though, as you will lose AF perfrmance with a TC/extender with your 18-200mm lens, and also you will lose resolution. Best to just crop your images, or get a longer lens.

Hi All:

I have a Canon 60d w/canon ef-s 18-200 f/3.5-5.6 lens. Does anyone know if the canon 1.4II or 1.4III tele extender is compatible with this lens? How about the 2 II or 2 III?
Thanks,
Harold
