acces to jpgs taken in auto HDR with a55

I am looking into purchasing the A55. From reading on the auto HDR function, I have two questions I need help with. First I read it shoots 4 shots and gives you an auto HDR image with conversion done in the camera plus gives you a jpg shot at normal. Do you have access to the 3 images shot to get the HDR, or just the final image. I would want to be able to use HDR software to adjust my final image, if needed, for the HDR final. I think I read that the HDR auto shots in jpg only and you cannot shoot in RAW, is that correct?
