3800 & Mac 10.6.7

After upgrading to 10.6.7 I lost the ability to print to my Epson 3800. I downloaded and installed the Common Updater 7.0 and the Printer Driver 6.6 from Epson's website, but I'm still unable to print. The printer shows up in the Print Preferences...but that's about it.

Has anyone experienced the same and, if so, could you share with me how you rectified the issue?
