A friends thinking of buying a Pentax k-x

I'm a Nikon D300/D5000 and Fuji S3 owner and a friends been asking my advice about getting a DSLR. I was looking at second hand Nikon D40/60/80/5000 models when I come accross the review from infosynch about the Pentax K-x DSLR and he gave it a really good review.

I've looked on ebay and he could buy either the Pentax K-x with 18-55 for £290 or Pentax K-x with 18-55 and 50-200 lenses for £399. As I've never done anything myself with Pentax I don't really know much about this camera other than reading reviews or watching reviews on youtube.

So are there any drawbacks with the Pentax K-x camera and these lenses? If anyone has some high quality images they could post so that I could show him, I would be really thankful.
