Canon 70-300 IS VS Canon 55-250 IS VS Tamron 18-270 PZD
May 3, 2011

so here's the deal,

i own a canon 550d for the last 6 month, and i enjoy every moment! up until now i used the 18-55 kit lens with the old canon 75-300 USM which i "borrowed" from a friend.

unfortunately that friend suddenly realized that i have his lens for the last 4 month and he took it from me heartlessly!

heartbroken and sad i decided to buy a new lens but i don't know which to buy.

i've put my eye on these 3 lenses -

1. Canon 70-300IS - which i heard is a pretty good and sharp lens.

2. Canon 55-250IS - which some say has an IQ very similar to the 70-300IS (and it costs less then half of it)

3. Tamron 18-270 PZD - which is tempting due to its super range but suffers in quality compared to the other 2.

i mainly focus on shooting outside, nature, wild life etc, but i would also like to have the ability to take nice pics indoor.

what do u think?
