have LX5 should I get Canon S95 for shirt pocketability and no lens cap?

I like LX5 IQ except that it is too big for shirt and the annoying lens cap.

I am thinking about S95 but won't accept a downgrade in IQ, Also I believe color rendering is different for Panasonic and Canon, which one is better is of course subjective. I am in general very happy with Panasonic color and not much experience with Canon color. I have a Canon compact a few years back, can't remember exactly maybe SD980 IS. I don't like that color, too dark and dull for my taste but I don't know if S95 is the same.

Is there any other objective evaluation of IQ such as dynamic range, sharpness and high ISO?

I know when in full zoom F is only 4.9 vs 3.3 but I rarely zoom so it doesn't matter, Thanks.
