Kirk plates compatibility with RRS clamps

I have the kirk L bracket along with some of their lens mounting plates and feet.
Does anyone here use these with the RRS quick release clamp?
RRS states that it is 50\50 chance of being compatible since the tolerances might be different.
That being said, I know that their screw down clamp will work just fine.
