It was suggested to me that I move tihs thread to Canon, from open talk. I thought lens are lens, but now I see I am wrong.

I am buying my wife a new Canon 60D for mothers day, it is a surprise. Yes, she will love it.

I am buying from a store I have dealt with before, and I now admit to all, I am clueless. It's not that I don't trust the store, but I want half a clue before I walk in, it is so much at once. Is the 15-85 really worth the extra money?

Could someone please advise with a short description of each lens?(Can pricing)
