Here's what I shoot . . . . 60D the right choice ?

Shopping for my first DSLR. I think I have it down to T2i or 60D. Would appreciate your comments based on my expected subjects and also some concerns I have.
My primary subjects will be (in random order) :
sunrise/sunset
night scenes, night city skylines
landscape
architecture
child's football and basketball
fog
macro
Based on what I'll likely be shooting, does one model seem a better fit than the other ?
I'm leaning toward the 60D, but some of the reviews don't seem very positive about the AF performance. Also, is dynamic range of 8.3EV a concern ?
Some of the positives I see about the 60D are :
faster burst for sports
finer ISO adjustment
articulated LCD (will use mainly for tripod shooting)
Based on the type of shooting I'll do, what factors should I be concerned with to help me decide ?
