Thank you gentlemen, your patience in trying to get me to understand is appreciated and the link Bob, was invaluable.

All this empahsizes the fact that photography is not my hobby it's just something I love to do while traveling but I realized long ago that no camera would allow me to just compose and capture; I needed some control and a basic understanding of it's use. Perhaps the wonder is that I have taken thousands of satisfactory (to me) pictures but I am now thinking of the failures. It is clear that more in depth knowledge might have got the floodlight castle and backlit statue.

By the way Bob, I will give you rights to the paper design for the VF2 however, thin slivers on the upper edge of the viewer thus pushing it down so the little pin engages with the camera hole seems best.
