Hairline Scratch on Lens
Apr 26, 2011

Hey everyone,
I need your advice on something here. Last week I purchased the Canon 60D with the 18-135mm lens. Last night I just realized there is a hairline scratch on the lens, maybe the size of a pinky nail or even smaller. Not sure how it got there, it could of been me cleaning excessively... (I'm a clean freak) lollll. What I used to clean my lens was the "Lenspen".
Basically I was wondering if there was a way to polish the scratch out or fill it in? If I can't do either of them, should I worry about the scratch in general? Will it effect my photographs at all or do I need more than 1 scratch for my photos to be effected?
Any help would be much appreciated!
