AFS 60 2.8 micro NOT SHARP vs Tokina 35 2.8 macro - HELP
Apr 26, 2011

Hello,

because I'm in love with the tokina 35mm macro, I have bought another macro lens (for portrait pourpose): the Nikkor AF-S 60 2.8G micro.

Well, I have made about 300 photos with it and then switched the lens to my tokina 35mm 2.8...

None of the 60's photo is as sharp as the photos made by the tokina.

The photos made with the AFS 60 micro are... very less datailed (see shirt in sample 1 and face in sample 2), seem a little out of focus... I don't kow.

My body is a D7000 and none of my lenses requires AF Adjust... maybe the AFS 60 is a lemon ? Or maybe it requires calibration ?

Please can you tell me where is my fault ?

Thanks !
