Monopod for 60D

Hi All:
I am looking for a good (hopefully relatively inexpensive) monopod I can use with my 60D + 18-200mm lens. I also want to be able to use the monopod as a WALKING stick. We are travelling to Alaska this summer and both items (as one) would be most useful.
I have searched the forum, but the responses are conflicting/confusing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
