What gear should I take to Egypt?

Please help me decide what gear to take to Cairo & Mt Sinai
D700
24-70 2.8
28-300 3.5-5.6
18-35 3.5-4.5
50mm 1.4
SB-900
SB-400
MBD10 Battery Grip
Monopod
Panasonic HDC-700 camcorder
Lowepro fastpack AW180
I'm thinking of just taking the D700 with 28-300, 18-35, 50, SB-400, camcorder & monopod.
Or should I buy a cheaper body like the 5100 for insurance reasons?
Otherwise, am I a fool to leave the 24-70 & Grip Combo at home?
