Currently Using 28-135. Is The 25-105 Worth Double The Price?

The 28-135 has been my go to lens from the time I started using my 20D. I recently bought a 5D and considering the 24-105 as an upgrade. Anyone have experience with both? Is the difference noticeable and worth more than double the price? Thanks.
