Because you lock exposure measurment directly after starting the video.

Yea would be nice, but as you know, only the aperture value is kept, so it is a matter of chance. Your idea to have an adjusted image on a mobile phone to point to in order to get the right exposure value is probably the only way to go.

So, you're still not getting it. It can be done in many ways.

If I can nail a 1/48s exposure 100 times of 100 do you still call it chance or luck?

It takes a maximum 5 seconds to set a 1/48s exposure and maybe 2 seconds with a mobile.
