Hard Drives

Hey, I am just getting into the game and am considering what to do for a backup. I don't have an immense budget, I was just wondering what everyone thought about hard drive brands.

I don't know if reviews can entirely be trusted as I think people who get the lemon hard drives tend to be more likely to post.

Basically if any of you have had any recommendations on which brand to go with, that would be awesome.

I have looked at going with firewire 800, as that would be nice, but most of the hard drives that have firewire 800 seem to get worse reviews than just usb 2.0 hard drives.
