Birth Photography in Low Light
Apr 21, 2011

I have been using my Fuji F10 for 6 years now and am sad that I need to part with it due to something on the lenz. The reason I love it is because I do birth photography and it gives me great shots in low light, makes NO noise when I turn the sound off, and is pretty good at getting the action of the birth when I take a bunch in a row. The camera fits solidly in my hand and I can frame a great photo with one hand. My favorite part of the camera is how every family says, " I didn't even notice you were taking pictures".

I'm looking at the Olympus XZ-1 (less than the Fuji and has better ratings) and the Fuji X100 (I'm not sure it is worth the money). I can't seem to find anything equivilent to my F10 (and I'm still kicking myself for never getting the F30). I'm wondering if anyone has any camera opinions for low light photos, as I am a bit overwhelmed by all the choices 6 years later...
