How to kill photography as an Art form.

This has to stop.

Photographic competition after photographic competition, photography exhibit after photography exhibit, this "standardized" photo "artistic" concept keeps being shown and distinguished as something original and worth praising.

Am I the only one seeing a "cliché" fully emerged, developed and hard-stone established that will eventually kill the medium as an art form?

In this particular case, I find it extremely worrisome that they ( a camera manufacturer, no less...) are telling young potential talents that this is the mandatory way to go, if they want public recognition.

What has been done here that has not been done a countless thousand of times before? What has been done here that can not be easily replicated by a creative-clueless clone just for effect?

This really has to stop.
