GH2 and macro focus

Hello,

I have the G1 and the 45mm Leica macro which is known to have difficulty with locking focus in the macro-range. Sometimes it works beautifully, and sometimes it simply will not.

Now I also read that autofocus is supposed to be much faster in the GH2 than in the GH1 (or the G1). So I wonder whether that would also improve the macro performance of the 45mm PanLeica?
